It seems like an exaggeration, but you will see that finding your perfect ring size can be a true secret to unravel.

I remember when I found out that ring sizes existed, it was something I had never fallen into, it seems strange, but at the same time it is logical, why if no foot or body is the same, the fingers would be? In short, knowing your ring size is as important as your shoe size, especially if you love rings like me!

Well, the point is that in the case of the fingers, we usually have 10 and that complicates the matter a bit, it turns out that each one can be a different size, so consider that when you decide to investigate what your ring size is.

Why is ring size essential? Well, like anything else, it is important that the rings fit correctly to avoid loss or discomfort, and there are several factors to take into account in this regard.

There is the issue of the ring width, if it is a very wide ring and on top of that it is thick, it is likely that you will need a size half a number larger to ensure comfort, the same happens when you wear several rings stacked, even when they are thin rings. And if it is an open ring it is almost certain that it will be a little loose, so it would be better to try a half-size smaller.

Another aspect to consider is that, as with the rest of the sizes, we have not been able to agree on the world and there are variations from region to country, so when searching among the equivalence tables, be sure to review the size that corresponds to the place where you will buy your ring if you are not sure, just ask the jeweler in charge.

As if it wasn't complicated enough already, our fingers tend to swell or shrink depending on the time of year, the former usually occurs in hot weather and the opposite in cold weather, so if you want to wear your ring all year round try to check if there is a major change in your hands during the different seasons.

And finally getting to the point, follow these instructions to find your perfect ring size, you will need this material:

• cord
• measuring tape
• scissors
• notebook 
• pen

Parece una exageración, pero ya verás que encontrar tu talla de anillo perfecta si puede ser un verdadero secreto a desentrañar.

Recuerdo cuando me enteré de que existían las tallas de anillos, era algo en lo que nunca había caído, parece algo extraño, pero a la vez es lógico, ¿porqué si ningún pie, o cuerpo es igual, los dedos si lo serían? En fin, que conocer tu talla de anillo es tan importante como lo es tu talla de zapato, sobretodo si como yo, amas los anillos! 

Bueno, el tema es que en el caso de los dedos, solemos tener 10 y eso complica un poco el asunto,  resulta que cada uno puede ser una talla distinta, así que considera eso cuando decidas investigar cuál es tu talla de anillo. 

¿Porqué la talla de anillo es fundamental? Pues como cualquier otra cosa es importante que los anillos ajusten correctamente para evitar pérdidas o incomodidad, y hay varios factores a tomar en cuenta en ese respecto. 

después está el tema del grueso del anillo, hablo del ancho, no del espesor, si se trata de un anillo muy ancho y encima es grueso es probable que requieras una talla medio número mayor para adegurar la comodidad, lo mismo ocurre cuando usas varios anillos apilados, aun cuando se trate de anillos delgados. Y si es un anillo abierto es casi seguro que será un poco suelto, asi que más valdría probar con media talla más chica. 

Otro aspecto a considerar es que como en el resto de las tallas no hemos logrado ponernos de acuerdo en el mundo y existen variaciones desde por región como por país, así que al buscar entre las tablas de equivalencia asegúrate de revisar la talla que corresponde según el sitio en dónde adquirirás tu anillo, si no estás segura, simplemente pregúnta al joyero a cargo. 

Como si no fuera lo suficientemente complicado ya, nuestros dedos suelen hincharse o contraerse según la época del año, generalmente ocurre lo primero en tiempos de calor y lo opuesto en tiempos de frío, asi que si quieres usar tu anillo todo el año intenta revisar si hay un cambio importante en tus manos durante las diferentes temporadas. 

Y yendo por fin al grano, sigue estas instrucciones para encontrar tu talla de anillo perfecta,  necesitarás este material:

cordón

cinta métrica

tijeras

computadora portátil

bolígrafo

now follow these instructions:

cut a string and wrap it around the finger you want to measure,

ahora sigue estas instrucciones:

corta un hilo y envuélvelo alrededor del dedo que quieres medir,

don't tight, just make sure it wraps around your finger correctly, let the thread come together,

no aprietes, solo asegúrate de que se envuelvas tu dedo correctamente, deja que el cordón se encuentre

make sure to go all the way around it and make a mark where the circumference closes

asegúrate de rodearlo por completo y hacer una marca donde se cierra la circunferencia

then cut where the circle is complete

luego corta donde el círculo está completo está completo

place the tape measure spread out on a table

*

coloca la cinta métrica extendida sobre una mesa

separate the strip you cut

and compare it against the tape measure
