van algunas fotos del proceso para hacer mi caja de brea..es realmente como una receta de brujas, recuerda a la alquimia de la edad media! fue muy divertido..hice también mis herramientas pero con apenas unas cuantas horas en el taller he ido muy lento, mañana comienzo al fin la primera pieza en brea!

i´m showing here some of my pictures during red pitch process..it´s a little bit like a witch potion or middle age alchemy. I also have done my own tools, all in steel, then i´ll start tomorrow working in my first pitch piece!

el lunes nos fuimos de compras, de mercado en mercado...fue toda una odisea!! resulta que necesitábamos ingredientes como para hacer una receta medieval!, así que de mercado en mercado..pasando por entre hierberos y tiendas de santeria..después el viernes a cocinar..

y mañana empiezo mi curso de brea!

hoy fue día de descanso...después de un ajetreado fin de semana..y sigo sin tener las fotos!! y que decir..la verdad es que entre el taller y mi niño..poco tiempo queda.

a la vez comencé una colección de plata y textil.

now i finished the resin production...

we left fro shopping!, from a market to another, an odyssey! we needed to find ingredients in order to cook a medieval recipe, so we left among hierberos and santeria stores..then on friday to cook.

and.. tomorrow i´ll start my brea (tar?) course!

today i gave my self a day off after a busy weekend..and i don´t have the pictures yet!! well i have too be honest at the bench and with a toddler at home there´s not much time left.

today i started a textile and silver collection.

ya con la producción de resina terminada..

el lunes nos fuimos de compras, de mercado en mercado...fue toda una odisea!! resulta que necesitábamos ingredientes como para hacer una receta medieval!, así que de mercado en mercado..pasando por entre hierberos y tiendas de santeria..después el viernes a cocinar..

y mañana empiezo mi curso de brea!

i´m working in my first international commission. it will be a necklace for a woman who lost her son at the sea during a regata. according to the tradition the boy has become a gull. so it is my protagonist. I am considering to incorporate some beads. i want it to be a good keepsake. this is a copper prototype, i´ll do the original one in sterling silver.

I am even deciding among the shapes..i think it will be a fliying gull.

estoy trabajando en mi primera comisión internacional. se trata de un collar para una mujer que perdió a su hijo en el mar durante una regata. según la tradición el chico se ha convertido en gaviota. así que esa es mi protagonista..

estoy pensando en incluir algunas cuentas..debe ser cálido y con sabor a mar. este es un prototipo en cobre, el original será en plata.

aun estoy decidiendo cuál será el modelo definitivo..me inclino hacia un ave en vuelo.

ya hace un año que estoy haciendo mi propia joyería, por lo pronto he trabajado en textil - hilo,tela- resina y plata incorporando algunos materiales adicionales como el barro.
